This foal's dam, Layla, pictured below, is a Black Egyptian Arabian Mare. Layla is 10 yrs old & solid black with exception of a black star/snip.  She & other Arabians were rescued from her previous owner due to many of the horses being neglected.  She comes from the show world but her papers were not part of the deal when all the horses were seized.  The attorneys did not want to get in to a "paper"  battle so the foal will be registered with the Pinto Horse Association.

 Layla "floats" like a dream when she travels, has lots of spirit & like all Arabians, carries her tail ever so pretty when she travels.  She has a very willing spirit, very fast,  a people horse & lots of energy. 

She is due to foal in May 2012 & is bred to "Kody"  , Layla's owner is betting that these two will produce an awesome looking foal.
